Children up to 18 years old may open a savings account with a $5 opening deposit. These account do pay interest. An adult must be joint on the account until the youth is 18. With the adult's permission, the youth may choose to apply for an ATM card. We will work with the parent to adjust the withdrawal limits on an individual basis.

Our Student Checking Account is available to students at least 14 years old with a parent as a joint owner. The student account is a non interest bearing account with no minimum balance requirements. It allows the student unlimited transactions, access to a student debit card as well as online and phone options for viewing balances and histories. We work closely with the student and parent to set appropriate debit card limits. This is a great first checking account for students.

We offer special CD's for youth that begin with just $300. The youth CD is a great tool for long term savings goals. Students are allowed to add to the CD in increments of at least $100.
